yes that title is their band name, well its two guys to be exact: dan le sac and Scroobius Pip. they are the greatest hip hop rappers on the face of the planet and i pity the fools who don't know them. they amazingly came to Aarhus last night and it was the best concert i've ever been to.

for one, it helped that i've been a fan since the middle of high school so i had at least 3-4 years of fanning to fuel my excitement, which has never happened before. always been a recent fan before i go to concerts so this literally made my life.

let's get a beat started then!

when he took out the glasses, Kaylyn and i looked at each other and grinned like maniacs

Photobucket
because DAMN he looked fine in them

Photobucket
i loved the giant book he used as a prop, idk what for but it looked cool

Photobucket
his classy table w/ chair setup. candle and bottle of wine too haha. and a suitcase full of props!

Photobucket
dan le sac being a badass

Photobucket
i just loved the stances he made, idek but they were and are always so awesome

Photobucket
oh god i'm hideous. but i'm also deathly sick. and in a state of jhgfdsdfghjkl;lkjh love his expression though lmao

Photobucket
the epic shirt i bought! its so flipping cute omg

Photobucket
bought a cd too because i actually wanna wear the shirt. i made the mistake of having Kings of Convenience sign my shirt so i'll never wear it now and that sucks

Photobucket
they signed my cd and i was eternally happy :D

ok for one, their music rocks. i'm normally not a fan of hip hop or rap but their lyrics blow my mind half the time and even when they don't, their beat keeps me loving it. i made Kaylyn a fan instantly when she heard the lyrics "thou shall not question Stephen Fry." TRUFAX.

next up, Scroobius Pip is HOT. i'd never thought so from his videos or pics online but in person? DAMN. his beard is magnificent. his hair is really cute, he has a good build, dresses nice, has great eyes, and his working class English accent made us swoon. dan le sac is better looking in person and in the present too oddly enough haha.

they're hella funny. after every song, they would talk about something. from how classy Scroobius Pip was with his wine and Dan would mock him for it (Scroobius had a classy table and a lounge chair on stage with a candle and bottle of wine which he drank) to how this loud wasted guy kept yelling that he loved Dan and they played off that really well. their third song in was about suicide and self harm and he's like "yeah so that's nice. tonight is gonna be miserable! :D" just. so many hilarious moments ohmygod we were cracking up.

THEY'RE NICE. like holy shit, i want to be their best friends. during the concert, he jumped down and shook hands with literally everybody in the front row (i.e. ME). afterwards, he thanked me and Kaylyn for being in the front! as in, he remembered us! got a picture with the guy even after leaving and coming back, which amused him. they were honestly thankful we came to their show which, i mean yeah they're not very big, don't have a label in the states, but it was just great how they really wanted to know our opinion and stuff. and we actually had a real conversation with both of them after the show!

Scroobius Pip had tweeted about being excited for bacon so a bunch of people actually brought him some. when he was signing my CD i was all "i was gonna bring you bacon but i thought it'd be awkward" and he was like "haha yeah i'm stuck with a bunch of it now and no way to refridgerate it" and we talked about bacon and Kaylyn gave him a fact (more pigs in Denmark than people) which sort of made her night. talked with dan le sac afterwards and he thanked us for coming, asked about the show and i told him i'd been wanting to see them for years. he picked up on us not being Danish and we admitted to being Americans and he was surprised, because our accents were really nice, as opposed to most Americans! we talked about Cali (how its not really America lol), San Francisco, and his fave sushi place in the Castro which we'd all been to! and told them to come back to SF because we'd totes be there again.

basically afterwards, Kaylyn and i were frothing at the mouth and making incoherent noises because we were in such love.

i'd really love it if you guys gave them a chance too! Thou Shalt Always Kill is classic and the first song i heard by them. The Beat That My Heart Skipped is so catchy and makes me dance. and Letter From God is so powerful and epic. these guys are severely underrated so check them out!
